Plant Oxford and Swindon Facilities Manager Intern

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to join our Facilities and Energy team at MINI Plant Oxford and Swindon as interns for a 13-month period. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the non-production infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and utility supply networks on the plant.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare documents for tenders and manage the work of contractors.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors, ensuring minimum disruption to core activities.
- Manage and lead facility change requests, planning for future developments and best allocation of space and resources.
- Monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels, using performance management techniques.
- Contribute to the improvement of data management of FM assets and real estate database information using BMW systems software and tools.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Studying towards an engineering, construction, or business-related degree and on course to achieve a 2:1 or above.
- Confident decision-making, time management, and project management skills.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
- IT skills, particularly with experience of the MS Suite.
- A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work with an ability to prioritize workload.
- A competitive annual salary of £23,650.
- 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract).
