Job Title: Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team at Culina Logistics. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team in various tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post weekly and monthly journals and assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Control the cash book, credit cards, and expenses
  • Prepare and post General ledger journals
  • Responsibility for set Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Post weekly and monthly Payroll journals and Salary prepayments or accruals
  • Prepare Monthly VAT reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of Monthly Group Reports
  • Support year end analysis, reconciliations and Group submissions
  • Assist in supplying information to Auditors for annual audit
  • Supply data for Tax analysis and assist with queries from the Muller Tax team
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual returns for the Office of National Statistics
Requirements:
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels within the business
  • PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
