About EJ Legal

EJ Legal is a leading law firm that provides top-notch legal services to its clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Funds Paralegal to join our team on a trainee solicitor level.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Investment Funds team with a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Preparing and reviewing fund documents
  • Maintaining trackers and checklists on various aspects of the funds process
  • Preparing and managing virtual data rooms
  • Reviewing, filing and circulating countersigned documents to clients, investors and administrators
  • Preparing and submitting Companies House filings
  • Drafting corporate authorisations
  • Liaising with specialist regulatory counsel
  • Carrying out winding up / insolvency searches
  • Preparing opinion and closing bibles

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Education to LLB/GDL level (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in finance or corporate/M&A is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience of managing CP checklists, Companies House filings and drafting board minutes is highly desirable
