We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Worker to join our team at Treetops Shortbreaks Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children with learning disabilities and/or Autism, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and other professionals.
- Implement and review care plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet the individual needs of each child.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the children's independence and well-being.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and weekends.
- Knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
