We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Training and Competency Manager to join our team at Just Group plc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing the training needs and development for all employees within our company.
Key Responsibilities- Training Program Management: Manage the operational training team, ensuring effective development and delivery of training programs that meet the needs of our employees and the business.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with Service Managers and Department Heads to understand each business area's requirements and devise appropriate training solutions.
- Training Delivery and Evaluation: Work in partnership with the Training Project Analyst to timetable training for new propositions and products, ensuring training effectiveness and alignment with business as usual training and competency processes.
- Customer and Partner Insights: Collect and analyze customer and partner trends and feedback to drive future propositions and training initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report on team progress, measuring the effectiveness of training interventions, and liaising with Training and Competency Specialists and Program Managers to navigate any variation in expectations.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders to confirm accuracy of training materials and processes relating to all projects undertaken.
- Recruitment Support: Understand the recruitment plan to ensure full training support can be agreed and BAU is not adversely affected.
- Financial Services Qualification: Hold a Financial Service Qualification, such as CII or equivalent in financial services (RQF Level 3).
- Training Experience: Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training facilitation, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
- Adult Learning Principles: Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and training evaluation methods.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple training and competency projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Autonomy: Ability to work without close supervision.
