Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Site Operations Manager to become a vital part of our team.

The selected candidate will be tasked with effectively leading, supporting, and overseeing the on-site team to ensure that the necessary health, safety, and environmental performance benchmarks are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to the company's health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor the advancement of the construction schedule to guarantee that methods and timelines are adhered to, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  3. Coordinate and manage the requirements for equipment, personnel, and subcontractors on-site.
  4. Collaborate with the office to address all inquiries from trades and take appropriate actions.
  5. Assist the office in managing the recruitment and onboarding of new staff in accordance with the company's best practices.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in a construction site environment, which includes effective workforce management, client interactions, and addressing planning and scheduling challenges.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Valid SMSTS certification.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • CSCS card at Site Manager level or equivalent.
  • BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years' experience in a managerial role on-site, with a proven ability to lead meetings and motivate staff effectively.

Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and building legislation is required, along with experience in preparing all necessary health and safety documentation.
