About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of account managers and executives in developing and executing strategic communication plans for our clients in the political and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of account managers and executives in developing and executing strategic communication plans
  • Advise clients on their communication strategies, managing media relations, and crisis communications
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to achieve client objectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated communication solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in public affairs, government, crisis communications, or policy accounts
  • Proven track record of client success and growing accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of the public affairs industry, including regulatory environments and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage and advise clients
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans
  • Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
