We are a well-established medical practice located in Yeovil, Somerset, serving the local community with high-quality healthcare services.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Administrator to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. As a Data Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our administration department, supporting our data management needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient records, process referrals, scan and code medical documents, process repeat prescriptions, and assist with IT support.
- Manage the referral process, handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, summarize medical information, and input essential data into the Electronic Patient Record.
- Provide real-time IT support and troubleshoot technical issues, train new staff in administrative duties and IT systems, and monitor and maintain practice databases.
- Handle patient medication queries and manage prescription requests efficiently, assist with data analysis, audits, and the implementation of patient recall systems.
Requirements
- Previous data entry experience and/or keyboard skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English.
