Job Summary

JC Landscapes Ltd, a reputable landscape company, is seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of various commercial and domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of garden maintenance professionals in ensuring the upkeep of lawns, pruning of shrubs, hedge cutting, and flower beds.
  • Schedule and coordinate team activities to meet high standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks on equipment, personal protective equipment, and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Hold horticultural qualifications and have a minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Have a good understanding of plants, garden maintenance, and the tools used (power and hand).
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills, a well-presented appearance, and effective communication skills.
  • Show enthusiasm and a passion for their work.
  • Possess a clean driver's license.
  • Be willing to obtain a DBS certificate if required.
