Job Summary:

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Civils Works Manager to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of projects, working closely with the Project Manager and Project Team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a skilled and highly motivated Civils Team, overseeing daily operations and challenges on multiple sites, and liaising with clients and divisions to support the team in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to required standards.
  • Order and purchase materials, and plan logistics to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Conduct daily briefings, implement RAMS and control measures to ensure the team works safely and efficiently.
  • Guide the business in an integrated and collaborative manner through the civils phase of projects.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in the civil engineering industry, with experience in reinforced concrete, deep drainage, earth removal, and other related areas.
  • Management experience, dealing with operational teams at all levels.
  • Preferred experience in the South-West Water, Environment Agency, IMERYS, and Cormac Projects sectors.
  • Preferred qualifications include NVQ in civil engineering, SMSTS, First Aid, Street works supervisor, and a full and clean UK driving license.
