Job Description

**Role Overview**

The Regional P2P Lead will be accountable for setting the strategic direction for the P2P process area and driving performance through defined measures and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for delivering the end-to-end purchase to pay service for the scope of the Shared Service Centre (SSC), including maintaining the Accounts Payable (AP) sub-ledger.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Strategic Leadership**
    • Support the EMEA SSC Lead in developing and executing an effective P2P strategy for the region.
    • Lead the P2P delivery team for the region to ensure that the overall P2P performance is meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and customer satisfaction targets.
    • Manage the P2P service delivered by the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to ensure performance is in line with targets.
  • **Process Improvement**
    • Develop the roadmap and embed best practice into P2P Operations processes, controls, and systems to deliver a seamless end-to-end procure to pay process.
    • Lead the monthly preparation and review of performance dashboards (showing actual performance against target) and identify necessary actions to resolve areas of under-performance.
  • **Vendor Management**
    • Ensure that the Group policies, controls, and contractual SLAs are being adhered to and followed.
    • Resolve escalated operational issues as specified by the governance model.
  • **Leadership and Development**
    • Ensure that appropriate People Development tools are utilised throughout your team consistently and fairly to ensure optimum performance of all colleagues.
    • Encourage an environment in which people value diversity in recruitment, team formation, and development plans.
  • **Qualifications and Experience**
    • Strong academic background.
    • Qualified Accountant - desirable, not essential.
    • Experience of managing and governing BPO delivery from a centralised and outsourced finance shared service function - desirable, not essential.
    • Must have several years' experience of managing a large complex P2P team across several sites.
