Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Repairs Planner to join our team at James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) in partnership with a Housing Association based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating gas repairs and services for both void and tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to tenant calls regarding repairs and provide initial diagnosis to determine the required work.
  • Book and schedule gas repairs for properties, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with contractors.
  • Monitor and chase repair operatives for updates on repair status, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Input data into in-house PDA systems to track repairs and facilitate efficient work management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social housing and customer-facing roles, with a focus on scheduling and coordination.
  • Proven ability to work with customers, tenants, and contractors to deliver high-quality repair services.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
