About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at Benoy, a leading global architecture and design firm. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our design teams in delivering high-quality projects through the effective implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Design Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • BIM Coordination: Organize and attend project BIM workshops and meetings, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication among team members.
  • BIM Compliance: Manage BIM compliance with project Brief, Execution Plan, and Technical Implementation Plan.
  • Design Technology Implementation: Support teams with Design Technology Assets, including Grasshopper and Dynamo Scripts, and interoperability workflows.
  • Project/Stage Commencement Set-up: Conduct workshops on setting up projects, site files, and area scheduling for early feasibility or concept stages.
  • Pro-active Support: Provide regular catch-ups, technical support, and best practice modelling guidance to design teams.
  • Project Issues Training: Upskill and train teams through real project examples.
  • Families & Content: Assist in creating bespoke families and provide guidance on modelling in Rhino and Revit.
  • Library Management: Manage the library, clean, audit, and create Benoy-approved families, and respond to requests from project teams for additional families.
  • Efficiency: Identify and implement add-ons to enhance project efficiency, such as automated updates, plug-ins, or coding for automated drawing issues from Revit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Science, Architecture, Design Technology, or Computation.
  • 3-5 years of relevant BIM experience on complex, large-scale projects through design phases.
  • Solid understanding of the BIM process with proven experience of BIM project coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing support to design teams.
  • Advanced knowledge in Revit, Rhino, Dynamo, Grasshopper, and other technology software packages.
  • Experience in authoring and implementing Revit Standards and Content Management.
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in software interoperability.
  • Advanced proficiency in setting up Revit projects for Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in defining and updating Revit templates for different design stages.
  • Advanced proficiency in sheet setup, drawing extraction, and model purging for external collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing project BIM data sets.
