About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team at Arbuthnot Yon. As a Senior Leveraged Finance Lawyer, you will play a key role in advising on complex deal structuring across a portfolio of international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on complex deal structuring, drafting, and negotiating legal documentation across leveraged finance, real estate, and M&A transactions.
  • Manage the life cycle of a transaction from embryonic/strategic stages through to execution.
  • Support the management of a robust loan, equity, and real estate portfolio.
Requirements

We are looking for lawyers from top-tier US and UK law firms or those with relevant in-house experience. You must be a lawyer who can sit directly with a business team, respond to queries with an open door policy, and disseminate complex legal matters through a commercial lens for a non-legal audience.

A background in leveraged finance and private credit is essential, as is experience in matters like restructuring or real estate. You will have the freedom to work autonomously, with significant responsibility over your own portfolio of clients, and a reporting line directly to the Global General Counsel.
