Senior Covenant Analyst

Covenant Review is seeking a seasoned Senior Covenant Analyst to join our market-leading leveraged finance intelligence team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for writing research reports on broadly syndicated and private credit leveraged loan covenants, assisting with portfolio analyses, and engaging with subscribers to provide expert insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write in-depth research reports on leveraged loan covenants, analyzing complex issues and contract provisions.
  • Assist with the preparation of private credit portfolio analyses and data reports, providing actionable insights to our subscribers.
  • Develop event-driven research and reports on special situations in the market, staying ahead of market trends and developments.
  • Contribute to our growing library of covenant primers, creating engaging and informative content for our subscribers.
  • Engage with subscribers to provide expert insights and answer questions on our research and market developments.
Requirements:
  • Senior lawyer with extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing leveraged finance documentation, including credit agreements and indentures.
  • City Law Firm experience in leveraged finance, with a deep understanding of the leveraged finance market and how covenants and financial definitions work.
  • Law degree and practicing Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Solid business acumen with commercial sensibilities, with experience communicating with business principals on complex leveraged finance issues.
