Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Nurture positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to encourage participation and manage challenging behavior.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for children with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience or an interest in supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS or KS1 curriculum is a bonus.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
