This role will involve:

• Contributing to various projects aimed at achieving operational purchasing objectives.
• Manually raising purchase orders for both direct and indirect materials, including stock items, fittings, consumables, and maintenance supplies.
• Negotiating competitive pricing and lead times with suppliers.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, cost savings, waste reduction, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Managing contracts and optimizing inventory systems.
• Obtaining quotes, updating inventory records, and managing low stock levels.
• Conducting regular usage audits on export orders to ensure accurate quantities.
• Ensuring timely and appropriate order placements while effectively managing lead times and delivery schedules.
• Streamlining category management by consolidating suppliers.
• Processing supplier non-conformances and tracking cost savings.
• Strictly adhering to company policies and procedures.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

• CIPS/IoSCM certification is advantageous.
• Experience in contract management.
• Technical expertise in procurement processes.
• A background in manufacturing and engineering procurement.
• A proven history of driving change initiatives.
• Familiarity with raw materials such as Steel, PTFE, EPDM, and SILIUN.
• Proficiency in computer and communication technologies, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• The ability to build robust relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivation and sound decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• A willingness to embrace challenges and adapt to change.
