Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role, combining your clinical expertise with a better work-life balance.
About the RoleAs a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. You will be sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals
- Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video
- Draw on clinical expertise to inform assessments
- Uphold best practice standards in assessment delivery
- Continuous Professional Development present on CV
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
- Self-aware and focused on professional development
- Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery
