Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist for Older Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Enfield Older Adult Services. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage dementia and mental health conditions in older adults in a community setting.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies, ensuring best practice in older adult mental health care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing expertise and knowledge to improve patient care.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, promoting excellence in older adult mental health care.
Requirements:
  • Valid GMC registration.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK.
  • CCT in Old Age Psychiatry.
