About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated clinician to join our established Children and Young People's 24/7 Crisis team. As a Crisis Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering our service, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis mental health assessment and interventions for Children and Young People.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health risk assessments and develop crisis intervention plans
  • Provide 7-day follow-ups and safeguard young people as needed
  • Liaise with other services and external agencies to ensure effective pathways of care
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote safety and support young people and their families
Requirements
  • Professional registration with HCPC, Social Work England, or the NMC
  • Relevant experience of assessing and managing risk within a mental health or social care setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and prioritize work to meet the needs of the service
