Job Title: Asset & Planned Maintenance Developer

Balfour Beatty is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join its Power T&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of the project by creating and managing detailed construction project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Optimize resource distribution to minimize costs and delays.
  • Produce and document planning deliverables, including programs, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.
  • Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving contract-related issues.
  • Analyze project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction, including construction methodology, various phases, processes, and requirements.
  • Skilled in managing labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives.
  • Competent in project management tools and software like Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6 or ASTA.
  • Good understanding and management of data and processes.
