Allen & York is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team in the development and implementation of their sustainability strategy, focusing on achieving net zero and other sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of Scope 1 and 2 targets and oversee the implementation of the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO14001.
- Review material outlets, including closed loop systems, and set KPIs to achieve targets.
- Liaise with peers in the industry and attend conferences and events to stay up-to-date with developments and innovations in the sector.
- Manage two direct line reports and develop people to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
- Degree in an environmental discipline.
- Experience in an Environmental Management and/or sustainability role.
- Previous management experience.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with teams internally and externally.
