Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Panama Shift Pattern days and nights 12 hours

(3 Days, 2 off, 2 Nights, 2 off, 3 Days, 2 off, 3 Nights, 2 off, 2 Days, 7 off)

Salary: £51,738

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our Service Centre in South Ockendon. As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for maintaining all manufacturing assets, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work with the team to maintain all manufacturing assets, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Complete root cause analysis and return equipment to a safe and timely manner, driving efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements.
  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures related to equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure all tasks are risk-assessed through site-specific or dynamic risk assessments.
  • Report maintenance tasks on the CMMS system as required and to the correct standard.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Issue work permits and supervise contractors.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification.
  • Evidence of cross-skilling is required if your qualification is of a mechanical specialism.
  • PAT Testing
  • PLC qualifications
  • Welding
  • Machine Safety (PILZ)
