We are currently seeking an Information Governance Specialist to join our dynamic IT Support Company. This role is pivotal in providing essential information and data to the Data Lead and Data Protection Officer (DPO) for governance reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a vibrant and proactive environment, leveraging their expertise to enhance the efficiency of IT services.

As the Information Governance Specialist, you will collaborate with the Data team, Data Lead, and DPO to implement actions outlined in the Data strategy, ultimately aiming to elevate the overall data service provision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating information for data protection requirements, including DSARs, DPIAs, and DPAs, in accordance with relevant legal frameworks.
  • Utilizing your strong background in Information Rights or Data Protection to support compliance initiatives.
  • Applying your knowledge of best practices and current legislation surrounding information rights and data protection.
  • Contributing to a data protection compliance program with your previous experience.
  • Providing training on data protection, particularly in educational settings, if applicable.
