About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Youth and Schools Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality secondary school program across Merseyside, focusing on supporting young people who are marginalized, at risk of offending behavior, or struggling to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver educational curricula that upskill and raise the aspirations of young people, aligning with the LFC Foundation's philosophy and partner schools' objectives.
  • Implement accredited qualifications, including the Prince's Trust and Sports Leaders, to enhance the program's impact.
  • Design and deliver engaging educational programs that increase young people's participation and motivation, both within and outside the education system.
  • Collaborate with schools and stakeholders to develop a curriculum timetable that meets national curriculum requirements and aligns with program objectives.
  • Manage relationships with school leads and other stakeholders to support program participants and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage a timetable that incorporates group work, one-to-one mentoring sessions, and other activities to cater to diverse needs.
  • Ensure adherence to LFC Foundation, school, and partner organization safeguarding and risk assessment procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, capturing data and reporting on progress in line with program procedures.
  • Continuously assess and improve program quality, ensuring high-performance standards are maintained.
  • Manage risk across schools to ensure the safety of young people and staff.
  • Support other areas of the LFC Foundation as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in planning and delivering educational sessions, working with vulnerable children and young people, and identifying and signposting them to support services. You will also have a relevant level 3 qualification in education and teaching or equivalent experience in youth work practice or youth support work. Strong communication, organizational, and management skills are essential, as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
