MIDAS Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a talented Graduate Project Engineer to join our client, a global manufacturing company located in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will report to the Technical Project Manager and be responsible for providing project engineering support to the Technical Projects group. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing project engineering support to improve SHE and operational performance, reduce the operational cost base, and improve product quality.
  • Managing budgets and leading small projects.
  • Providing technical engineering/problem solving support for smaller scale technological improvements within the business.
  • Managing contractors involved in process improvement activities.

You will work closely with the Technical Project Manager and Head of Process Design and Projects to ensure projects are delivered on-time and in specification. You will also support the development of new products and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering Degree.
  • Chemical/plastic manufacturing environment experience.
  • Working towards the attainment of a professional 'Project Management' qualification.
