About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Larkrise Care Centre. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity, and supporting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the care team to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are met
  • Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their families, and the wider team
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting best practice and evidence-based care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-registration experience, with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and ability to evidence continuing professional development
  • Experience of or willingness to train in medication administration, catheterization, end of life care, verification of death, syringe drivers, gastrostomy care, venepuncture, diabetic awareness, tissue viability, epilepsy awareness, and management of deterioration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
