About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Early Years Educator to join our team at Smart Start Nursery School in Gravesend, Kent. As a Casual Early Years Educator, you will provide cover for periods of holiday, sickness, and vacancy gaps, working variable hours on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and care to children under the age of 5
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • Work in partnership with the existing educator team to create an inspiring working environment
  • Support the successful running of the nursery
Requirements
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children under the age of 5 (desirable)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (desirable)
  • Reflecting the Storal values of responsibility, openness, and working together
What We Offer

Competitive rates of pay, ranging from £11.50 to £13.28 per hour for qualified Educators, and £8.60 to £11.44 per hour for unqualified Educators. A supportive and collaborative working environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
