Pet Care Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at PDSA. As a key member of our hospital team, you will provide exceptional customer service and clinical care to our patients, while promoting pet wellbeing and supporting our clinical team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, assisting with animal handling, working at reception, and providing support to our Veterinary nurses and Surgeons. They will also be expected to encourage financial contributions from clients and work collaboratively with the hospital team to achieve our goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and wants to start their career in a veterinary practice. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while making a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Veterinary Care Assistant Level 2 diploma or equivalent, as well as excellent customer service skills and a high level of self-motivation. You must also be at least 18 years old due to the varied shift pattern.
