The Radiography Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the high performance of radiography preparations, planning, and interface arrangements. This position requires a strong understanding of radiography, radiation protection, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with IRR2017 and other relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the NNB Health and Safety team and subject matter experts to ensure technical compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, collaborating with contractors to control costs without compromising safety.
  • Champion learning and the HPC way, working ad-hoc shifts to monitor work and ensure standards are met.
Requirements
  • PCN or equivalent ISO 9712/ASME level 2 radiographer, current or lapsed qualifications accepted.
  • Previous experience as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) minimum.
  • Experience working on large construction/refit projects with significant levels of radiography.
  • Good knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques/standards and additional qualifications like ultrasonics and/or surface inspection.
  • Knowledge and experience from working in the nuclear sector.
