We are offering a unique opportunity for professionals in these fields to become a part of our community-focused pain management service. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pain Management, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals experiencing chronic pain.
This position provides a balanced work schedule from Monday to Friday, without shift work, alongside competitive remuneration, coverage of professional registration fees, and dedicated time for professional growth. The role allows for a hybrid working model, combining both remote and clinic-based responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering compassionate and effective pain management strategies to both individuals and groups as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Facilitating patient education regarding pain, rehabilitation, and self-management techniques tailored to individual needs.
- Ensuring that pain management approaches are personalized and patient-centered.
- Maintaining compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements, including infection control and patient safety.
- Participating in clinical team development and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Recognizing the significance of psychological methods in pain management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience and interest in managing chronic pain conditions.
- Valid professional registration with NMC or HCPC.
- Background in physiotherapy, nursing, or occupational therapy.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
