Job Title: Generator Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Generator Engineer to join our team at Blue Arrow - Burton on Trent. As a Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial diesel generators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on generators to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Diagnose and repair faults on commercial diesel generators
  • Install plumbing and electrical components as required
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery schedules are met
  • Conduct final safety inspections of generators prior to delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial diesel generators
  • Familiarity with regular generator maintenance protocols
  • Capability to install plumbing and electrical components
  • Willingness to assist the operations team with fabrication and cleaning tasks during downtime
  • Experience with brands such as Stephill, Genquip, or AJC would be beneficial
  • Previous welding skills would be beneficial

What We Offer:

As a Generator Engineer at Blue Arrow - Burton on Trent, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established client in the village of Measham, just outside of Swadlincote. You will be part of a dynamic team that values expertise and experience. We offer a competitive pay rate of £17.45 P/H and a 45-hour workweek from 07:00 to 16:30.
