Job Title: Group Head of Technical

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Group Head of Technical to join our team at MacGregor Black. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical department, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical department with a focus on food safety and quality.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve food safety and quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all technical activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy and objectives.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical management role within the chilled food industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
