Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Practitioner. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing and support services to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality customer nursing and support services in line with our Clinical Governance Framework and Northcott Values.
- Promote improvement in quality of life and foster independence for people with disabilities who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support services.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of our clients.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on health and wellness topics.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
- Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board).
- Registration with the medication notation is highly preferred, or willingness to complete a Board-approved qualification in administering medicines within 12 months of commencement.
- NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
- Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the NSW Disability Standards.
- Knowledge of WHS principles, including safe manual handling procedures.
