About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and confident individual to join our scheduling team at Marmion. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance and call-out services.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule engineer works, taking into account the location of booked jobs and the qualifications of attending engineers.
- Relay detailed information about jobs to engineers, minimizing repeat visits and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide customers with relevant information about the works to be completed, ensuring they are informed and up-to-date.
- Handle customer queries and issues related to scheduled works, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
- Balance customer needs with business costs, ensuring that works are processed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in a telephone-based administrative role.
- 1+ years' experience in a scheduling environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and engineers.
- Confidence and ability to deal directly with customers, engineers, and stakeholders, managing their expectations and requirements.
- UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
