Job Title: Junior Merchandiser

At JD Sports, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the Merchandiser in delivering sales, markdown, stock, intake, and profit plans across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Merchandiser in developing and implementing sales and profit plans
  • Collaborate with the Buying team to ensure accurate product mix and stock levels
  • Manage stock seasonality and ensure timely ordering and replenishment
  • Review and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within the retail industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
