Burman Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Reward Advisor to join our public sector organisation. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing reward strategies that align with our organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Reward Strategy Development: Assist in the development, review, and implementation of the organisation's reward strategy, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligned with market trends.
- Benefits Management: Manage the full range of employee benefits, including pensions, health, wellbeing programs, and flexible working options, ensuring they meet the needs of employees and remain within budget.
- Salary Benchmarking: Conduct salary benchmarking exercises to ensure pay scales remain competitive and compliant with public sector pay frameworks, and advise on any necessary adjustments.
- Job Evaluation: Support the job evaluation process, ensuring roles are correctly graded, and provide advice on job classifications and salary bands.
- Policy Development: Develop, review, and maintain reward and benefits policies, ensuring they reflect best practice and comply with relevant public sector legislation and guidelines.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and report on compensation data, benefits uptake, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for improvements and cost deficiencies.
- Communication: Ensure that all employees are well informed about their reward and benefits packages, and that communications are clear, accessible, and effective.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with HR teams, finance departments, and external benefits providers to deliver efficient reward and benefits solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of reward and benefits strategies, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will also need to be able to analyse complex data and provide recommendations to senior management.
