Electrical Maintenance Technician - Client Direct - Days - Competitive Salary + Bonus

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a prestigious Client Direct Company. The successful candidate will be stationed at a vital commercial facility. This role requires an electrically skilled individual with a solid background in commercial property maintenance, particularly in critical environments such as data centers or financial institutions. As part of the on-site maintenance team, the technician will lead efforts in M&E maintenance while ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance for all client assets through the effective operation of the PPM System.
  • Maintain accurate records related to Health & Safety, Building Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
  • Manage subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements, including administering work approvals and ensuring safe operations.
  • Quickly address plant faults and defects to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Ensure availability of necessary spare parts for maintenance tasks.
  • Complete comprehensive maintenance records in the form of job sheets.
  • Prepare, review, and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Assign and oversee tasks to ensure completion, including the effective use of shift engineers.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for shift engineers.
  • Ensure the shift team is well-trained and skilled, implementing appropriate training plans.

Qualifications:
  • Electrically qualified (Level 3 / HNC / HND)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Ability to provide trade certificates (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of critical systems: Chillers, HVAC, UPS systems, Cooling Towers, etc.
  • Strong customer service skills
Desirable Qualifications:
  • High Voltage experience or qualification (current or expired)
  • Additional qualifications in Electrical or Air Conditioning fields
