Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Wood PLC. As an Oil Terminal Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at our oil terminals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at the oil terminal.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Electrical Problem-Solving: Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical problems.
  • Electrical Schematic Analysis: Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Corrective Actions: Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring electrical problems.
  • Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Instrument and Gauge Maintenance: Perform routine checks on electrical instruments and gauges to maintain accuracy.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Documentation: Document equipment specifications, serial numbers, and calibration data.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall terminal functionality.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding work progress and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Qualifications: Level 3 Electrical qualification / completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical industry.
  • CompEx Qualification: CompEx EX01-04 Qualification.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an electrician.
