Tax Senior Professional

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join a prestigious firm of chartered accountants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a personal tax focused position, supporting the Tax Manager with compliance tax matters and contributing to advisory work across Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax planning.
This role offers a fantastic chance to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships, and providing advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning.
- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships.
- Provide advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections for clients where required.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff.
- Meet with potential new clients and assist with client onboarding.
Requirements
- AAT or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience working within an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
- Experience of preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review and relevant tax computation software.
