Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive strategic statistical contributions to critical clinical studies, ensuring comprehensive design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  2. Provide expert guidance on drug development projects, influencing development plans, regulatory strategies, and publication approaches.
  3. Lead collaborations with global program teams to enhance quantitative decision-making and optimize drug development processes.
  4. Facilitate seamless transitions of projects from early to full development, implementing innovative methodologies to enhance the development lifecycle.
  5. Oversee project-level activities, ensuring efficient resource management and effective partnerships with external collaborators.
  6. Represent the Biostatistics function at key internal and external decision-making boards.
  7. Contribute significantly to project team preparations, playing a key role in health authority advisory committees and meetings.
  8. Lead initiatives at both global and cross-functional levels, coordinating diverse teams with varied technical and non-technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Statistics or equivalent with over 12 years of relevant experience, or a PhD in Statistics with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  2. Fluency in English with strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to varied audiences.
  3. Proven ability to influence project outcomes and departmental objectives.
  4. Advanced knowledge of statistical applications, including exposure-response modeling and innovative design methodologies.
  5. Demonstrated success in implementing novel strategies within drug development.
  6. Extensive understanding of drug development processes and health authority guidelines.
  7. Strong grasp of at least one therapeutic area.
  8. Proven leadership capabilities with excellent mentoring skills, overseeing a team of associates.
