We are seeking an experienced retail or hospitality leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading supermarket brands, known for their exceptional customer service and commitment to excellence.
About the RoleAs an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This will include managing the sales floor, leading a team of sales assistants, and ensuring that the store is running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in the management of the sales floor and team
- Lead a team of sales assistants to deliver excellent customer service
- Manage the store's operations, including stock management and inventory control
- Develop and implement plans to improve sales and customer service
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Manager or Leader within fast-paced Retail or Hospitality sectors
- Motivation by results and a desire to achieve high standards
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work flexibly and travel within a 45-minute radius of your home location
We offer a competitive salary, guaranteed pay rise every year, and unlimited opportunity for progression. You will also receive private employee medical insurance and discounted health cash plan.
Please note that the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. We are also able to offer 40 and 45 hour contracts, and in these instances, the salary offered would be pro-rated. Additionally, if you are applying for a role within the M25, you will also receive an allowance of up to £3,090 dependent on location.
