Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Poundstretcher is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our HR operations by delivering exceptional administrative support, ensuring that all HR-related tasks are executed with professionalism and efficiency.

This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to develop or enhance your experience across various HR functions. While a HR qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting employment contracts and offer letters
  • Completing necessary documentation for security clearance for new management personnel
  • Conducting and providing employment reference checks
  • Managing administration related to employee sickness and absence
  • Updating job vacancies on internal and external platforms
  • Assisting with various HR projects and administrative tasks, including managing absence and disciplinary documentation
  • Establishing and maintaining personnel files for all new management hires
  • Processing authorization forms for new hires and salary adjustments
  • Organizing filing and archiving systems
  • Responding to inquiries from store locations via telephone
  • Performing additional duties as required
