Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Renovo Care Group. As a key member of our Neuro Rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing specialist Occupational Therapy to patients with acquired neurological conditions and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and strengths, utilizing formal and informal measures as appropriate, and develop evidence-based therapy plans.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination, including discharge planning and liaison with community teams, social services, and equipment providers.
  • Clinical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to HCPC and RCOT standards.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training to OT assistants as required, ensuring consistency in therapeutic approaches.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of OT services, including audit and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a neuro rehabilitation setting.
  • Skills: Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
