Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist - Home Tutor

Job Type: Temporary/Contract

Location: Leicester City

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to work on a 1-to-1 basis with children in their homes or a learning hub/library. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Speech and Language Difficulties (SLCN) and be able to provide tailored support to meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-to-1 support to children with SLCN in their homes or a learning hub/library
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's communication and language skills
  • Work collaboratively with parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support and progress
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate with parents and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • QTS or HLTA qualifications
  • Experience working with children with SLCN
  • Good knowledge of the curriculum and ability to adapt to individual needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check
