About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing defence infrastructure projects and will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a leader with the ability to deliver successful outcomes, a collaborative team manager who will work with the whole project team to develop objectives and agree ways of working, and experienced in managing NEC 3/4 contracts ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract including management of change control.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring progress against the schedule, managing resources against the baseline, and identifying variances that require action. Additionally, they will be responsible for monitoring financial performance throughout the project and preparing reports for stakeholders.

We are looking for a high-performing Associate Director who can demonstrate a flexible management skillset and is able to establish and maintain governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for governance.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and disseminating a stakeholder management and communications plan to meet the objectives of the project.

About You
  1. Experience working on defence infrastructure projects
  2. PMQ Accredited preferably
  3. NEC 3/4 accredited preferably
  4. SC preferable, but suitability for security clearance if not currently cleared
  5. Past experience of managing multiple projects
  6. Strong communication skills including the ability to manage meetings with senior client representatives
  7. A collaborative approach including managing large technical teams
  8. Proven ability to deliver to deadlines
  9. Able to identify and develop a phased approach to delivery, working collaboratively with the client to understand and agree the project requirements
  10. Team player, able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines and to form effective relationships.
  11. Good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel, and Word
  12. Ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including programmes, risk registers, Stakeholder Management Plans, Project Execution Plans, and Quality Assurance Plans
  13. Professional and ethical in everything that you do
  14. Driving licence preferable
