Job Title: Technical Processing Engineer

As a Technical Processing Engineer at Kingspan Insulation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous production of high-quality insulation boards. You will be responsible for providing technical support to the production team and collaborating with the Technical Projects team to develop new products and improve existing ones.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Optimise chemical and process conditions to ensure product quality meets specification standards.
  • Participate in corrective action in the event of product failures, including customer and site visits.
  • Understand local quality assurance test methods and harmonised product standards.
  • Develop knowledge of continuous production systems to act as a resource for the Production teams.
  • Assist with trials for new product development and existing improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with suppliers, technical establishments, and customers to further the company's interests.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical, or Processing Engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Application of problem-solving tools.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and ability to analyse data for trends.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Experience of working with various IT programs.
