Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in Redbridge. This is a permanent and full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEN support and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEN provision, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other staff members.

The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment, with access to excellent facilities and partnerships with leading therapists and SEN support services. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEN provision, working closely with the SLT and other staff members
  • Support students with special educational needs, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective SEN support
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEN support, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Strong background in special educational needs, including knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs
