Hamilton Mayday is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in leading and motivating the Kitchen Team, as well as overseeing all aspects of food storage, preparation, production, safety, cooking, and service within our on-site restaurants and bars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in leading and motivating the Kitchen Team
  • Oversee all aspects of food storage, preparation, production, safety, cooking, and service
  • Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and banquets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining environment
  • Knowledge of sports nutrition and ability to develop menus accordingly
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
