About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Game Designer to join our team at Electric Square. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our games and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Provide design direction and guidance to the design team, ensuring that our games are engaging, fun, and meet the needs of our players.
  • Game Design: Develop and implement game design concepts, mechanics, and features that align with our studio's vision and goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including art, programming, and production, to ensure that design requirements are met and that the game is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate design plans and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and other external partners.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in game design, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality games.
  • Skills: Excellent design skills, with a deep understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and game development pipelines.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of designers.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
